In 2015 it expanded its support and development to six provinces supporting 111 deep rural and township schools over a four-year cycle which ended in December 2018. The team of twelve district-based facilitators/research assistants is responsible for direct support provision to school management teams and teachers in selected schools.
  2. District Partnership Programme

The programme capacitates district officials to enable under-performing schools to become steadily achieving schools capable of sustainable development. Through the mediation of existing Department of Basic Education policies, the DPP enables district officials together with school management teams and teachers to implement their roles and responsibilities with accountability.
