In uncertain times, learning has never been more essential
If learning is the route to a job to support a family, to acquire skills to launch a career, to lead our country into the future, then in uncertain times, what is more essential?
Teachers might not be listed as essential workers, but every essential worker was taught by a teacher. Thanks to South Africa’s teachers, learning has not stopped.
Survival Guides for the Revised Annual Teaching Plans
To ensure that despite the shortened teaching year, teachers and learners can meet all the necessary learning outcomes for the year, we have created Survival Guides for the Revised Annual Teaching Plans to assist teachers in implementing the DBE’s Recovery Framework.
Our Survival Guides provide proposed strategies that can be used to save teaching time, indicate what concepts you need to retain or omit in your lessons, as well as which topics you can group together. They suggest teaching strategies you can implement to cover the curriculum and guide on assessment changes and what needs to be covered pertaining to SBAs.
Virtual Teacher Training Workshops
We continue our strong tradition of teacher training and are running our teacher training workshops virtually. Our dedicated and passionate team of trainers are running workshops to assist teachers in implementing the revised ATP’s as per the DBE’s Recovery Framework and how best to use Pearson products to deliver effective lessons.
The workshops are free to attend and cover a vast range of topics relevant to teaching the curriculum.
Classroom Solutions allows teachers to download free teaching resources to save time, so you can spend more of yours getting creative about learning. Our aim is to provide you with support and inspiration, so you can create interesting and engaging lessons to motivate your learners.
Access a selection of your favourite teacher's guides from Maskew Miller Longman, Heinemann and Pearson on Classroom Solutions, as well a vast range of downloadable resources for Grade R to 12.
